gobeats is designed as a standalone, offline-first media player. We do not require accounts, we do not show advertisements, we do not track your behavior, and we never collect or transmit your media library to any server.
Permissions: READ_MEDIA_AUDIO, READ_MEDIA_VIDEO, and READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (for Android 12 and below).
Used solely to scan, index, organize, and play your music and video files on your physical device. All song metadata and artwork cache are stored locally in your device's private SQLite database.

Generates dual subtitles entirely offline using native Google voice language models installed on your phone (supporting Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali, and English). Audio is never uploaded or recorded.

Detects when you connect Earbuds, Headphones, Car Audio, or Phone Speakers to automatically apply your preferred Equalizer presets and Bluetooth AV lip-sync delay compensations.
When you play a track, gobeats queries public lyrics databases (LRCLIB) to fetch time-synchronized lyrics using only track title and artist name. No device identifiers, user accounts, or telemetry data are shared.
All app-generated data (playlists, listening stats, equalizer presets, cached lyrics) resides purely on your device. You can permanently delete all data at any time by clearing the application storage via Settings > Apps > gobeats > Storage > Clear Data or by uninstalling the application.
gobeats does not collect personal data from anyone, including children under 13. The application complies fully with COPPA and GDPR regulations.
gobeats is currently distributed free of charge with all baseline and core features unlocked.
The developer of gobeats retains complete autonomy and all commercial rights to introduce monetization models at any time in subsequent updates. This includes, but is not limited to, introducing optional paid premium tiers (gobeats PRO), one-time lifetime licenses, optional subscription plans, or in-app billing through Google Play.
While core on-device playback functionality remains privacy-respecting and offline-first, future updates, advanced DSP features, expanded AI capabilities, or cloud extensions may be offered as optional paid upgrades at the developer's sole discretion.
